How to Launch a Nuke

Launching a nuke in Fallout 76 requires preparation and teamwork. Use the weekly Nuke Codes for silos Alpha, Bravo, and Charlie (fetched in real-time) to launch nuclear missiles and spawn high-level enemies with rare loot in blast zones. Check back weekly or when the codes rotate. Follow these steps to unleash destruction in Appalachia:

  1. Join the Enclave: Complete the main questline and Enclave quests ("Back to Basic," "Officer on Deck") to access the Whitespring Bunker Command Center.
  2. Obtain a Nuclear Keycard: Track a Cargobot via the Surveillance System Terminal in the Whitespring Bunker and shoot it down to loot a keycard. Alternatively, trade with players or earn from seasonal rewards.
  3. Get Nuke Codes: Use the codes shown above. Codes are 8 digits, specific to each silo (Alpha, Bravo, Charlie).
  4. Enter a Silo: Fight through a silo (Alpha, Bravo, or Charlie in Savage Divide) guarded by level 50 Sentry Bots and Aggressotrons.
  5. Launch the Nuke: At the Nuke Terminal, enter the keycard and code, then select a target on the map. Avoid the blast zone unless equipped with a Hazmat Suit or Power Armor.
